All wood design projects are completed in accordance with CSA Standard O84-01 Engineering Design in Wood and in compliance with the Ontario Building Code. We have a practical knowledge of all wood construction elements including:

  • Sawn lumber (multi-ply beams and columns)

  • Machine Stress-Rated Lumber (TimberStrand®, Parallam®, Microllam®)

  • Connection details (nails, lag bolts, screws, split rings, framing angles, joist hangers, hurricane ties, Simpson Strong-Tie, etc)
